Oh, Mr.Andersen, there´s so much I could say about him, but I´ll try and keep it to a minimum. I was a student of Mr.Andersen´s at Mount Tahoma High School. His class was my favorite class! My senior year, I looked forward to 3rd period and making jokes with him. I remember he had on jeans with bejeweled pockets and I made fun of him for them and he said "listen, my girlfriend bought them for me okay" with an eye roll, of course. He had the biggest heart and was so selfless. Even if you upset him 10 seconds later, he will come talk it out with you. One of my favorite memories is when I was in class. I remember he was on crutches and he had set them down and when he wasn´t looking, I took one of them and made it as short as I could and I went to sit down with my friends. Then I threw a ball of paper at him and he said if you do that again I´m going to come over there and throw it at you. So, of course, I did it again and when he got up on his crutches, one side of him leaned over because of how small I had made his crutches. We all started laughing, Mr.Andersen included, and he said something along the lines of "well you think you are just hilarious, don´t you" with all the sarcasm. Hearing of his passing hit me hard! He was an AMAZING teacher! He talked about his son and daughter all the time and how proud he was of them. I can still picture in my head him referring to the photos of them he had on his desk. To his family and loved ones, I´m so deeply sorry and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers! His memory, jokes, thoughtfulness, words of wisdom, and laughter will never be forgotten! Once a T-Bird, ALWAYS A T-BIRD! We love you Mr.Andersen!

I am truly sorry to hear this news. I just loved working with him at lincoln Bowl. When it was really cold outside he would heat up his truck seats and let me sit and warm up. He was such a awesome guy.

I have a hole in my heart. I´ll miss our Andy, Randy, Candy dinners, laughter in the yard and having someone dissect all the football games.
