The Late Doctor Michael A. Armstrong and I enjoyed playing one another in the athletic game of tennis. I would frequent the home tennis courts he would play on in the Potomac, MD community, and oftentimes, he would visit my Camp Springs, MD tennis community for the camaraderie. We had several fantastic tennis matches between one another. We loved tennis so much that we would see one another in the stands when the Professional Tennis Players would come to Washington, D.C. to play the Legg...

As a neighbor, I only got to know Michael briefly but saw him as a kind, gentle soul. My prayers are with his son, of whom he often spoke with great love, and his entire circle of family and friends. Washington House, Newark, DE

My sincere condolences to the entire family. May the God who gives peace be with you all in this time of sorrow. -Rom. 15:33

I am so sorry for your loss. May the Most High God comfort you during these difficult days. (Psalm 83:18)

My deepest sympathy. Dr. Armstrong will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely,

RIP, sir!
I didn't really know you well, but I remember when I was fresh off the boat(S.A.), you took me to a Tennis game...I didn't know much about tennis but I had a great time.
May you soul test in peace!

I had the honor of working with him perhaps for just a few months, but you could tell what a great person and dedicated provider he was.
Sir, may you be in peace, and may your family be graced by God's comfort.

Dr. Armstrong was the Chief of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service when I was selected for my first supervisor assignment. I remember being so afraid of being asked a question that I wouldn't know the answer to. One day while talking with him in his office, a physician entered and asked him a medical question. I remember Dr. Armstrong saying "Let me reference my text book, I'll get back with you shortly". It was at that moment that I realized that you don't have to know or remember...

You will be missed!! I enjoyed working with you
