To the Bean Family,
I was looking through the obits last night and saw this one. I was shocked to say the least. I had to read it 3-4 times to make sure this was the same Scott Bean that I knew and loved as a boy and teenager. He was my favorite friend of Allen's of all time. I have thought about him often, especially lately for some reason. I'm sorry they lost touch. He was such a great kid and I'm sure he grew up to be a great man. We have so many wonderful memories of Scott and all those hours, days, weekends, holidays spent at the ballpark. What an awesome young man you raised!
