Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace Mike. You were a great friend and mentor. We shared many wonderful memories at Camp Merrimac, where we were both counselors. Mike's enthusiasm and passion for mentoring young campers were truly remarkable. Those summers at Camp Merrimac were filled with laughter, adventures, and unforgettable moments, all made better by Mike's presence. Mike, you will be deeply missed, but your spirit will remain with us always.

Barbara, Bob and I send our sincerest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your wonderful Michael. It was a privilege to have known him, even for a short time. Janice Weber & Bob Lieberman

Michael and Barbara Bertin and Peter Landecker, all graduates is Bronx High School of Science in 1959, at a west coast HS gathering.

We both lived in Parkchester, graduated from JHS 127 and the Bronx High School of Science (1959). I visited his home. I am very sad at Michael´s passing. My sincere condolences to his family.

I'm sorry to learn of Mike's death. Knew him since PS 106 Kindergarten--through Science. Then we reconnected when I moved to California. A long time.

Cub Scouts, Parkchester to now...miss you lifetime friend.... RIP! Peter Lowitt

The Bertin version of the Passover Seder has been used for almost 50 years by the Krueger family with at least 45 with Barbara and Michael. He will be missed.

Mike was the unofficial recorder of our very rural community in Mesa Grande, CA. He and Barbara were the first neighbors to welcome us and share the Rncho Loma culture. We will greatly miss Mike's gentle guidance and friendship and the gatherings Barbara hosted at their place.
