Dr. Michael Billig

Every time I have to go to a new eye doctor, they never measure up to Dr. Billig. He would always know my eye history and listen to me and take such great care of my eyes. He was such a sweet man and a great doctor--I still miss him very much.

With powerful sympathy to Mike's widow ,Liz and son,Max, I will remain loyal to their needs even these 2 and 1/2 years after their tragic loss .

I just learned today of Dr. Billig's passing and my heart hurt knowing that this wonderful man had to suffer through this illness and lose his battle. I was his patient for over 25 years, and because of my own medical issues, I had not called to make any appointment with him until now. He was the most caring, patient and kind doctor and he is irreplaceable. I am older than he was and never expected to lose him as my eye doctor. My children were his patients too, and he never forgot...

I am so saddened by this devastating news. I just learned, today, August 7, 2017, of Dr. Billig's passing. I am one of his former patients. He was my contact lens/eye glasses doctor for 25+ years. I called to make my annual appointment and was just taken aback. You have my deepest condolences. I shall cherish our times together where we shared our traveling experiences.

I just found out that Dr. Billig passed away. My heart and prayers go out to his family. He was my doctor for at least 20 years and always had kind words to say and seemed sincerely concerned when I had issues with my eyes. He will truly be missed.

Dr. Billing was a dear, dear kind man who was dearly loved by so many. Yesterday, I went to the office to pick up my contacts, and even though I knew he wasn't there, I still expected to see him walk out from his office. I miss him very much, and always will.

I just heard of Dr Billig's passing and am deeply saddened by the news. To his family: please know that he was appreciated by so many, including me. I will never forget how caring and patient he was--He made a difference in this world. I am sending prayers to family, friends, patients, and coworkers of Dr Billig.

I have been going to Dr. Billig for over 22 years and my son and husband also saw him. I was referred to him by a co-worker and once I saw him, I never even considered going to anyone else, even though it took almost 45 minutes from our house to his office. He was a great, kind and thorough doctor. He was very personable and my family will miss him greatly. Condolences go out to his family.

Like others I only just learned of Dr. Billig's passing. I cannot understand why someone so gentle, kind and gifted is struck down so young. My deepest sympathies go out to his family whom he clearly cherished. I will truly miss his warm and patient care toward all of our children and myself. He was a very special man.
