Michael J. BLOOM M.D.

I was a patient of Dr. Bloom. He was a very kind and understanding person. He saved my life and I am extremely grateful. He made me not to be afraid of doctors. Very sorry for your loss and the medical field. He will greatly missed.

This is such sad news. Mike and I first met when we both took piano lessons from the same teacher in Amsterdam NY. We were in the same homeroom in 7th grade, and were together in most classes doing our years at Amsterdam High. The AHS class of 1970 mourns.

I was extremely saddened as I´m sure we all were to hear of Dr. Bloom´s death. I worked in his office as the phlebotomist/lab tech for several years during my career. Those were one of the best and most memorable years of my career. Dr. Bloom, along with his wonderful staff made my career both rewarding and satisfying. Michael and I grew up together in Amsterdam, NY. He was a few years older but I remember him as a kind older friend. His father and mother were leaders of the Jewish community, his father was the Rabbi. I remember him from religious school and services as he was often helping to lead the services by high school and would come from college for the high holidays to lead the services. Our family is deeply saddened with hearing of Dr. Blooms passing. He was always very patient, kind, and thoughtful with both our mother and father. He will be deeply missed! Our deepest sympathy to Becky and all of Dr. Bloom's family - wishing you peace and comfort at this sad time.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Bloom. I was a patient of Dr. Bloom for several years. I always he cared a great deal about his patients. It was always a pleasure to visit him. I found him to be very thorough and professional as a doctor, and on a personal level very friendly, kind, and sincere. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
