The amount of people who attended Mike's celebration of his life was a testimonial to the many people whose lives he had touched. Sitting in the front row you were unable to see that every seat was taken and a huge amount of people were standing in the back. All wanting to express their love and appreciation to Mike and your families. Looking down I am sure Mike was pleased!

I really wish I could have been in town yesterday...I can't believe you're gone. I know we haven't kept in touch over the years, but this has been so hard for me to accept. You were such a good friend and helped me through so much many years ago, and I hope you knew how much I appreciated the friendship you gave me. I will miss you.

You were always like a 2nd family to me. I loved Heather & Mike like my brother and sister. We always had such fun playing together at Bear Lake each summer as children whether it was in the water, building forts by the swamp river or exploring. Mike was a terrific guy so full of life and adventure. That's how I'll remember Mike...at Bear Lake doing what he loved in his element. Heaven got an amazing angel that Saturday morning and I do believe he's watching over all...
