A graveside service for Michael Philip Brantley, 54, of Pell City, Al., will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2020 at Liberty Hill~Taylor Cemetery with Terry Cole officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Mr. Brantley passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Michael was a talented musician. He was a Drummer for the bands, Mo’ Betta, Dakota Band, Eric Craig Band, J.J. Hughes Band and several others. Michael was a good, loving father. He was a 1984 Graduate of Southwood High School in Shreveport, La.
Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by his father, Jurd Brantley; maternal grandparents, R.P. & Mary Tucker; and paternal grandparents, Willie & Lillie Mae Brantley.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kaden Michael Brantley; special friend and companion, Tina Trantham & her son, Trent Mays; mother, Peggy Brantley; brother, Brian Brantley; sisters, Jan Tyree (Robert) and Laurie Portzer; nieces, Kelly Roberts (Josh) and Jolie Gray (Christopher); nephew, Mason Portzer; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; and a host of other family and friends.
The family kindly requests, that if you are going to be attending the graveside service, to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
