Remembering Mike this month and always. You were the best role model for me of what an Assistant Principal should be and what an educator should be. I carry that with me every day. Thank you, Mike!!

I heard many entertaining stories about his classes growing up. He was the perfect role model for young impressionable children to emulate upon emigrating to this country. My brother was very fond of his teacher and when I finally met the man, I had the utmost respect. Although I never took one of his classes, Mr. Caez had an important impact on my brother's educational experience at HMS during the early 80's. Successful and truly inspirational... He stood for what many of us aspired to...

To our friend and hero, Mr. Caez. May God keep you in His eternal Glory. I am saddened to find this out without first having to have met you in the last twenty five plus years to tell you how much you meant to me and how much what you taught me during my time at HMS (82-83), I am still carrying/practicing at present time. I know how big your heart was, and I know I will miss you.

Mike was the most wonderful person. We worked together in Hackensack. Not only were we colleagues but we were friends. You could not have a better friend than Mike. I will miss him. He was more than just a friend. He was a kind and generous person. Mike loved his beautiful daughters and he was so dedicated to helping the children in Hackensack. Mike, I will miss you. Toni DeLuca
