Dear Carrolls,

I have such fond memories of the times I spent with your family as a child. I used to envy Rorey for having the cool, sweet older brother I always wanted! So, so sorry for the loss you are experiencing. It is obvious, by so many posts, that Mike was beloved by many. He left the world a better place, and clearly left a beautiful mark on those lucky enough to know him. I wish you all peace and comfort.

It seems as if it was only yesterday that I babysat for Kathleen, Mickey and Rorey and that the "little jelly man"(Mickey) would chase us kids in the basement after his lunch of PB&J was smoothered all over himself. So many great memories of the Carrolls!! Deeply sorry for your loss!!

So sad to hear this news. Although i did not know Mikey, i was allowed a glimpse into his life creating a memorial slideshow with Kathleen Carroll & Kim Anderson.... Thank you and my prayers go out to all family and friends -
