8 years later and I don´t think there has been a day when I don´t talk about Mike or use the lessons he taught me. I think he´d love that Dexter is back.

Mike was one of the best friends I ever had. I miss him every day.

I met Michael many years ago when he was recruiting for Barber Coleman at the University of Iowa.t I was in grad school and he invited me to come to Rockford for a summer internship back in the early to mid 80s. Dear Helene, I am so shocked and sorry to hear this sad news. I did not know your husband, but I know, from you, that he was a wonderful man, and I know how much you loved him and how precious your life together was from the conversations we all shared at card club. I am deeply saddened at hearing of the passing of Mike. I had the pleasure of working with Mike at Smith's / GE Aviation. We had many talks about golf, Notre Dame and life in general. We are all so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. It has been many years that we have spent time together, but we remember very fondly both of you at several gatherings through the years.
