Occasionally in this world someone touches my life and shows me why I do what I do. Mike did that and more during the all-too-brief time I was privileged to serve as his speech therapist during this past year. Although cruelly stripped of the ability to easily communicate, he found ways to reveal what it means to have been created in God's image. With a simple well-timed raised eyebrow, he could inject humor into a frustrating treatment...

This man was the Greatest Grampa there ever was and ever will be. He was loved by so many people and made them all smile. We will miss you but know you are in a better place, walking with God. He is reunited with his mother and father and eventually with all of us as well. Until then Gramps I Love You!
