Not sure what to say?

Chris,
I just learned the horrible news. I am so sorry. I was thinking of you two because I spotted what I think was a yellow-bellied sapsucker clinging to the window screen of my home in Atlanta. I remembered that you had an academic interest in these guys so I wanted to reach out and reconnect. There’s an expression I have seen that Jews use to express their condolences: May his memory be a blessing. I think it’s as good as anything, so in that vein I will share a few of my memories of...

To Chris, Allison an Nicholas, I pray you are all doing well.

I am little late with this, but have the need to express some heartfelt thoughts and memories of this most exceptional, gifted man, my cousin Mike.

Mike Clayton, was my first cousin. He was so sweet, kind, hugely intelligent and the greatest Allergy/Asthma Dr. Children and Adults treated by him over the years, were indeed fortunate.

We grew up in Albuquerque during the 60's, together. Our family moved here...

I want to express my condolances to Dr. Clayton's family and office staff. My son was a patient from the time he was six months old.. My son is going to be sixteen next month. We only saw Dr Clayton once a year. We only found out about his passing a few weeks ago. My son I can hardly believe it. We have lost an Amazing Dr.. So grateful for all the years he was my son's Dr. He will be missed by all.

Thank you kind sir for your gentle heart, your love of helping other's, especially our little one's. Sofia loved coming to see you, even if it was because of her itchy skin. You had humor and kindness in all of those moments where my daughter wanted to cry. To your family; I'm so sorry for your loss. Your father and husband was a great man. God be with each of you.

I'm so sorry and in shock that Dr. Clayton is no longer with us. He was the BEST doctor my son ever had and always treated my son like he was his one and only patient. Thank you for everything. May God Bless your soul and may you rest in peace sir. Thank you.

What a wonderful person, an honor and privilege to know. My son and I were patients, and he treated us with compassion, listened, and took the time to think carefully and give us his best medical advice. He was a GREAT doctor and will be sorely missed. We should all strive to be like him. To his family members and close friends, I am so sorry, and I pray you will be comforted...it seems to us he was taken too early, but I know we can trust the wisdom of Him who loved him best.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Dr. Clayton was an amazing Dr and he had a big kind heart. He treated both of my kids since they were 4. They loved him and always said hes the best. R.I.P Dr. Clayton.

My heart is devastated to hear the news of Dr. Claytons passing. He was such an amazing doctor and helped my kids so much. He will truly be missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
