Not sure what to say?

I was lucky knowing Mike and working with him at Sonata and later at ASML. Mike was a true engineer, could figure out a way to fix almost everything. Mike was so proud of his kids and his wife which is the most I remember about Mike. We lost a very kind man. My deepest condolences to Corwel family.

As a volunteer at the YNHH Smilow Cancer Center, I was truly blessed to have met Mike while he received his chemo treatment. We had a lot in common ! I ,ALSO, had pancreatic cancer and have been cancer free for six months now. We talked on many occasions and I also invited him to join the Men's Cancer Support Group of which he was a major source of inspiration to all of us during our monthly meetings. A more down to earth, gentle, humble, sincere, knowledgeable person you could not find. He...

Deb, Jamie and Christian, you all have my deepest condolences! He was such a good man as well as being so very cool. His outlook on life was a breath of fresh air, along with his witty sense of humor. He was there so often for Katrina... making her background music for performances... being a headliner 2 years in a row for her fundraising group raising money for the oncology department at the Hartford Children's Hospital. Totally selfless. He´s rocking heaven right now and watching over his...

Debbie, my deepest sympathies for your loss! I was blessed with wonderful childhood memories of Michael and Lara. Family picnics and gatherings at Auntie Gens and Uncle Ed´s. My prayers go out to you and your children as well as the entire family.

My sincere condolences to the whole Corwel family. Mike was an awesome musician and a phenomenal guy. Everyone really enjoyed him playing at our dog days of Oxford. Sandy Merry

Camping on Benjamin farm in Cornwall, Ct. with friends and family. You will be missed Mike. Debbie and family my condolences. ShirleyAnn and family.

Debbie my thoughts and prayers are with you and the Corwel family, as I remember playing music with Mike and all the fun we had back then. Very sorry. Keith Gullberg

Michael and his family visited us in California, either summer of `82 or `83. the trip, of course included trips to the requisite theme parks in the SoCal area - Knott´s Berry Farm and Magic Mountain (we were already in a "too-cool-for-Disneyland" phase, so that one was out). The entry marquee at Magic Mountain boasted the one and only Marshall Crenshaw performing with his band at the Magic Mountain pavillion. Michael was absolutely ecstatic and couldn´t believe his luck. His sister,...
