Michael Craig Obituary

Michael Thomas Craig
Mr. Craig, 60, of Matthews, NC, passed away on February 13, 2005 at Sunrise on Providence. He was born on August 31, 1944 to Thomas Alexander and Eunice Baldwin Craig in Burlington, NC.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and loved by everyone who knew him. He was an avid fisherman who served in the Navy during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1970 and then enlisted in the Army National Guard from 1977 to 1983. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, friends, and his beloved pets, Lucy and Kitties.
Surviving Mr. Craig are his wife, Sherry, of the home; children, Amy Craig and her husband, Jerry Bagnell of Wilmington, NC, and Chris Craig and his wife, Gail of Matthews; a grandson, Weston Craig; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Lanier and her husband, Bob of Cosby, TN.
A service to celebrate the life of Michael Thomas Craig will be held 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Matthews United Methodist Church with the Reverend Steve Combs officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3420 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
