Mike was a great guy and teamate! I was lucky to play 10+ years with Mike and shared many great games and Championships on the Milwaukee MSBL Pilots Baseball Team. I will miss his competitveness and camaraderie!

So saddened to hear the news of Mike’s passing. As a former neighborhood friend who grew up across the alley from the Derricks (my home away from home), I have many memories of the fun times we shared. Mike was definitely “one of the good guys.” My condolences to Lynn and the rest of the Derrick family.

I grew up with Mike and have fond memories of him throughout our school days. I was so sad to hear of his passing. He was an all around great guy. My sincere sympathies to his wife, children and extended family. I know he’ll be deeply missed. My prayers are with you all.

I used to work with Mike at Roadrunner. I spent 3 1/2 years working side by side as his counterpart and he always made things interesting. He had a unique personality that I’ve missed since I left my job there. I am so sad to hear the news of his passing.
