Not sure what to say?

I just heard of this yesterday. I haven't spoken to Mike since my late teens early 20's. He was a great friend to me back then and was there for me during some tough times. Great guy, good memories. Sad to hear this all these years later.

I am so very sorry for your loss! Nina (Bennett) McCormack. Mike was a wonderful person.

Dear Dewberry Family,
Mike came to mind tonight and somehow I landed on this site. Don't know if you still check these messages, but if you do read this one day, know that you are often in my thoughts. I hope the last few years have been healing for you all and that your lives are full of joy and peace.
All my best,
Jessica

Stephanie,

I reached out to you in Febuary when I saw the sad obituary regarding Michaels passing and sent the words I only knew at that time to say. But just this July (5 months later), I too lost my husband Patrick suddenly and unexpectedly, and there's not many people who can understand the pain and long journey we have ahead of us. If you have an opportunity, please contact me.

It just shouldn't have happened...to either of us or our families...not at this time in...

I am deeply saddened to recently hear of Michael's passing. My sincerest sympathies and condolences go out to the entire Dewberry family for your profound loss. I went to both elementary school (Jamestown) and high school (Congressional) with Michael and we lost touch during college years. I spent a few days last week trying to get back in touch with him through Facebook, unaware of his passing. I was so shocked and sad when I found out today. Michael was always so full of life and a joy...

I just got word of mike's passing. I am very sad to hear he is no longer with us. Mike's spirt will live on forever with me and everyone he touched, during his way too short time with us. I went to high school with him and shared many fun times with Mike and his family. My family's thoughts are with all. I miss you Mike.

Honestly, I've been at a loss for words, as I cannot even imagine the grief you must feel in losing a son. Being a part of the Dewberry community for 30+ years, I wish to offer my deepest condolences during these difficult times. Michael will be remembered fondly.

I am so sad to hear of your family's loss. Mr. Dewberry was a kind, outgoing, and friendly man that always made me feel welcome in his home. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him and his beautiful wife and babysitting their adorable children. Although I haven't seen the family in a while, I reflect often on the fond memories we made. They will be cherished forever.
