Not sure what to say?

The CAPTAIN.....HE led by example, we all wanted to follow him....I think during the early stages at VHS, he along with Coach Cheira, Coach DiGorgio, Paulo, Marty Carl, Rusty Terry... and others, we're the strength of our success....GOD BLESS HIM, AND ALL THE OTHERS, who have gone home. Didn't realize it then, but that was the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE...

Many beers and burgers at the Cabin Restaurant. Taconic Babe Ruth all-star team. Lost to Portchester 1 zip in the regional final. My younger brothers JV football coach at Westlake HS. Valhalla AC Rec. basketball. RIP Mickey.

He was the Captain during the early years of VHS. His raspy voice and leadership, helped inspire those that followed him. He was a true competitor and a great teammate... he will be missed....Regards Les

Lot's of great memories my good friend. I will never forget you.

Duffelmeyer family/Mickey/ Wendy and Jitterbug: Iwill never forget the good times and sometimes bad times spent growing up in Valhallla with the Duffelmeyer family. As a kid I watched Mickey ice skate near my home on Blenis Place. Watched him play football, basketball and baseball. He could do it all. Wanted to be just like him.

Uncle Moose was a great role model growing up. One of the coolest, most admired and a true inspiration to me. He always made me feel proud to be his nephew and to be a Duffelmeyer.I will always remember my Dads brother as a great all around person who was well loved by many.I wish there were more people like him.
He will forever live in my heart.
Jim Duffelmeyer
