I am pained that i did not get to see Steve at the reunion. Both of us were heading in different directions all day, but then again, that's how it has been since the 60's when we first met. I can remember allot of the "Eitel Lore" from the time i was about 10 years old. Through my "formative" years of junior high school, Steve was somewhat of a legend. My heartfelt sympathies to Steve's family, from one who grew up in Lantana and went to school with him. Always a stand up guy. He will be missed.
