I am pained that i did not get to see Steve at the reunion. Both of us were heading in different directions all day, but then again, that's how it has been since the 60's when we first met. I can remember allot of the "Eitel Lore" from the time i was about 10 years old. Through my "formative" years of junior high school, Steve was somewhat of a legend. There was never an unkind word, always a smile and a gleam in his eyes. Steve had a knack of always making you feel important and a "part of". I won't say rest in peace, cuz i now Steve didn't rest. He always had something cooking whether is was emotionally, spiritually, philosophically, or physically. Go with the wind brother, go with the wind. Thanks for the parts of the world that you made better.

I'm proud to have had Steve in my life as a true Friend. A man as honest and true as the day is long. I'll miss you every day and sing your praises for my lifetime. I'll miss you smile and laugh. But then again they will be in my heart forever. Go to God my friend. And I will see You in the hereafter. You defined the word "Pal". From the day I met You, and every day after.
