My condolences to Pam and to the Emerson family. I just found out about Mike's passing ,and I could'nt believe it. I worked for Mike for a few years .I remember him telling me that he was going to teach me everthing about underpinning and shorring. The first thing he said before we even started,with a grin on his face he asked,Oh ya I hope u like digging Paul,and boy did I dig and dig and dig for the next few years.Mike alway kept us busy,Mike was one of a kind in my book. Sharing an office with Mike for three years was both a learning experience and incredibly entertaining. His knowledge was unquestioned and he will be missed.
