Darlene and I are very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Mike was a great guy, and when his mother, Margarete, and my father ( John) were married he became a "great" son-in-law to my Dad, and we will always remember that. Our hearts go out for you three children and family as you lost a very nice and caring father.

Mike and Bob spoke often on the phone.They laughed and recalled the good life they had.The good lord spoke to them both and now my family and yours have a void in our lives but.........we know the boys are planning a new skit for us to see some day. My heart goes out to you and yours.

I was so sorry to hear of Michael Francis's passing. We were at Utica College together and I had a crush on him. Now and then I would bump into him when I visited a Utica. He was such a nice caring man.

I got to know Mike when I was assigned to Utica. He was a fine man and now I'm sure celebrating his reward in heaven!

Mike was the...go to guy...when you had a question about east Utica and the 'old days'...another great library has closed in my home town...he will be missed by so many of us...
