Not sure what to say?

What a man! My daughter was the lucky recipient of Mike's ER care 19 years ago. I'm so sorry for this immeasurable loss to the Feder family, but I'm also sad for an immense loss to all of us who were fortunate enough to have lived in his "community" which extended globally. Joyce, my deepest condolences. How tremendous that he had such a lovely and supportive partner and soul-mate in you. His life makes me want to live mine better, as he continues to inspire.

All of us here and in Uganda miss you, Mike, and thank you for your courage, faithfulness, and love. We are counting on you to continue to do great things, now from heaven. All our love and thanks. Sr. Toni

"A Man For Others"
This is the title of an article written by Mark Vittert in the St.Louis Business Journal in the November 30, 2012 edition. As a SLUH graduate, I was interested in reading the article. What a wonderful life story that ended too soon.
Even though I never had the pleasure or the honor of meeting Dr.Feder, I graduated from SLUH in'64, I felt compelled.to express my sympathy to the family. What an outstanding example 'A Man For Others'. What an inspiraion his life is for...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Mike from SLUH, and I know he was a great guy. I know words cannot take away your pain, but I know Mike's life was devoted to the service of others, and he is now in paradise with the Father. May God continue to bless all of Mike's family and close friends, and blanket you in the compassion and comfort only He can give.
Nick Ferrara (SLUH Class of 1980)

You were an inspiration to many Dr. Feder. You will truly be missed here in OP and at St. Michael's. God has wonderful plans for you up in heaven...#Fedstrong

Condolences to everyone who was lucky enough to spend time in Dr. Feder's light. I worked with him for years at St. Joseph and St. Marys and I can truly say that he defined the words "compassion" and "gentleman". I never heard him speak a cross word to anyone, and he treated one and all like they were royalty. He will be sorely missed.

We are so sorry to hear this news. Mike was a wonderful person and a great neighbor for all the years we lived on Dearborn Drive--we will never forget the many kindnesses he showed us. Our deepest condolences to Joyce, Jon, Annelise, Emily and the rest of the Feder family. His spirit lives on. Sincerely, Bob, Shirley, and David Phillips (now residing in Santa Rosa, CA)

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost a child a few months ago and i know how hard it is.

I was so sad to hear about Dr. Feder's passing. I was priveleged to have the opportunity to get to know him through his children as their teacher in middle school. I know that they will continue to live their lives the way they learned how to through their father. My thoughts and condolences.
