Michael was "my athlete in training" 'for the 15 or so months that I worked with him. As his Fitness Coach he taught me more than anything I could convey to him. He was courageous, tough, persevering and, especially, fun to be around. Our thrice-weekly workouts were the joyous part of my week. Of course I had to mind my "Ps and Qs" not to overtly flirt with Carol when under his scrutiny. I hope he's still doing hammer curls and ball tosses wherever his training ground is.
