Not sure what to say?

I've known Michael since 1st grade at Newberry. We were in almost every single class together all the way through high school graduation. Michael, though you will be sorely missed, I am thankful to God that your suffering has ended. Mrs. Duck, I can only imagine the grief you and the rest of the family are going through. Take solace in God's merciful grace and know that one day you'll see Michael again.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

R.I.P We love you and will always miss you.

On behalf of all of us at Lourdes College, please accept our most sincere sympathy. Our faculty and staff remember Michael as a wonderful member of our community. Please know our prayers are with you that the Lord will bless you and comfort you during this most difficult time.

I met Mike way back in elementary. He was so smart, quiet, and very kind. I am deeply sadden to hear he was taken too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. The tributes describe a very special guy. At Psalm 147:3 we read, "He is healing the brokenhearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." Cherish your beautiful memories. Your family and friends are in my prayers.

I remember Mike from Jones Jr. High then later at Libbey High School, the one thing I remember about him is that he was so smart. I am truly sadden by his family lost and I pray that you will find comfort in the Lord in this time of need. Libbey Cowboys class of 91 we have lost one of our own. God Bless

I was so shocked to hear this tragic news. I worked with Mike at FoodTown at Southland shopping center. He was still in high school when he started working with us. I have the fondest of memories of Mike so caring and loving. Even though we went our seperate ways, when we would run into each other we could just pick up were we left off. I know for his family his death is a tremendous loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and especially his grandma Duck I'll never forget Mike Telling...

Mike was one of the best friends I've ever had. We had the type of friendship where we could look at each other, and without a word (or sometimes an added eye-roll!) we would know what the other was thinking. He was one of the most selfless, caring, non-judgmental people I have ever come across and I am lucky just to have known him.

Watching the toll the illness took over his mind and body was one of the hardest things I've endured in my life. Although I miss him, I am happy he...
