I always enjoyed the time I spent with Mike. He was a great conversationalist - intelligent, knowledgable, and witty but always interested in what I had to say. When he started to talk about his family - especially his grandchildren his eyes just lit up with love. I'm very sorry for your loss of this very special man.

I was a coworker of Mike's at WSKT. I will always remember a hot summer day when we were both at a local business picking up freight that employed a large number of latino workers. The foreman said something to his workers in Spanish about Mike and I. And to their surprise Mike responded to his comments in Spanish. I suddenly realized that there was alot about Mike I wasn't aware of. From that day on I enjoyed many a stimulating intellectual conversation with him and admired him greatly...
