I always enjoyed the time I spent with Mike. He was a great conversationalist - intelligent, knowledgable, and witty but always interested in what I had to say. When he started to talk about his family - especially his grandchildren his eyes just lit up with love. I'm very sorry for your loss of this very special man.

I was a coworker of Mike's at WSKT. I will always remember a hot summer day when we were both at a local business picking up freight that employed a large number of latino workers. The foreman said something to his workers in Spanish about Mike and I. And to their surprise Mike responded to his comments in Spanish. I suddenly realized that there was alot about Mike I wasn't aware of. From that day on I enjoyed many a stimulating intellectual conversation with him and admired him greatly because we were both doing work we had to so we could support those we loved. He often spoke of his family and his love for them. My condolences for your loss.
