Not sure what to say?

Mike was a great teacher and my first mentor at Boston Children´s when I started my fellowship in 1973 .

I just now learned of Dr. Mike's passing. He was a true Godsend to my son David, who has had serious heart problems from birth, and to our entire family. A very special man, whose devotion to his patients and his profession was truly remarkable. The good that Dr. Mike did for this world will never be able to be measured. Rest in peace, my friend.

There are angels among us and Dr Freed was one that that came into my life. When was born I was given 3 days to live. Forty-three years later I´m still alive. Dr Freed and the great medical staff at Children´s Hospital made that possible. Thank you God for bringing him into my life.

I just found out that Dr. Mike Freed has passed away. He saved my brother´s life in 1994 and remained his doctor until a few years ago. An excellent physician and an even better human being, he will be deeply missed. Thank you Dr Freed!

I just found out about Dr. Freed's passing and am so sad! He literally saved my life back in 1983 and has been by my side ever since. There is a special place in heaven for him and I am blessed to have been cared for by such a remarkable man! Thank you, Dr. Freed. You will be missed :)

I was a cardiology patient of DR Freeds since before I turned a year old and I'm honored to have continued to see him until just last year! 1973-2024 God blessed me to have him as my Cardiologist!

I have truncus arteriosus and dr. Freed was my childhood dr. I am so devestated to hear the passing of Dr.Freed. He was such a kind, compassionate man. He really made his patients and families feel at ease. He is truly one of a kind. I am so so sorry.

Our dear doctor Mike Freed; you will always be in our hearts. Altug&Burcu

I was very lucky to get to know Michael through his membership in a support group for HCPs with CLL. His contribution through his knowledge and his calm and graceful demeanor when dealing with his second devastating cancer talk me much about how to live a good life and be a good person. I am very grateful to have known him. May his memory be a blessing. Dr. Brian Koffman, CLL Society.
