Mike worked for me at VDOT for almost 10 years. He never had a negative thing to say and was always smiling no matter how crazy things became at work. He was an inspiration to not only our team but to others he helped along the way. He never backed down from a challenge and was respected by all he came in contact with. Mike will always hold a special place in my heart. We worked together for years and was my counterpart for the night crew at VDOT. He brought a different kind of energy.
