Not sure what to say?

We are deeply saddened at the loss of such a kind and gentle man. "Coach" you will be greatly missed. Thanks for gracing our lives with your spirit.

Coach Mike gave us the gift that lasts more than a lifetime, the Will to Win. He changed the way we felt about ourselves and our teammates. He is a wonderful example of what a "Coach" can be.

At Spring Hill College we knew him as Ziggie. He had a knack for reading people and making us laugh at our own worts. We taught, coached and mourned Steven Kyropcyk's death in Viet Nam together. He was my friend. I'm sorry I lost contact. God Bless Mary Kay and his children.

Mike Gallagher was a great source of inspiration in my life. He brought a winning attitude to STA and helped me grow as a young man. Mary Kay and his children have suffered a great loss. He will always be remembered fondly.

As one of Coach "G's" "Baby Raiders" in the fall of '64 and then later a member of the Varsity in '67 & '68, I join his family in their loss. He was a "Guy's-Guy" who not only impacted his student's lives by his actions on-the-field but also in the way he cared for his family. Thanks Coach!

I am saddened to hear that Coach passed. An inspiration as well as a coach.

To a true mentor,
At a time when he was needed most, this man made all the difference.
He will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Michaels family. My mom and I took Aunty Annie to England with us back in 85 and had a lovely time. Wish we could attened the services.. Love to the family!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are extended to the family of Coach Gallagher, a great man and teacher.
