Mike, it breaks my heart that you and Patty are no longer with us. I hadn´t seen you for along time, but every year I loved sending a Christmas card and receiving the traditional family picture. Condolences to your family.

Mike was my neighbor, friend, and classmate who lived just across the street from me growing up at Koontz Lake, IN. Mike was my big brother and my Hero. He was never afraid of a challenge, even welcoming them, saying it's how one grows. He was open and vocal about his love for Patty and his sons. The Grandkids were the icing on his cake! He often said his family was his proudest accomplishment. He was a great example for my sons to see that coming from modest beginnings does not limit you unless you let it. I will forever miss him. Cindy

Nine years ago, I arrived in the United States through the Special Immigrant Visa program, designed for those who served and aided the USA during missions in Afghanistan. It was during this time that I had the privilege of...

Mike, I've always said that you were my best friend growing up. That friendship continued throughout our lives. It was always nice catching up on each others' lives through our many phone calls. You and Patty were a wonderful couple and had an interesting life together. I am truly going to miss you. Greg Bohac
