I met Mike 25 years ago when he and Leo were teaching a self-defense course for State employees. Throughout the years his broad shoulders, supportive soul and HUGE heart brightened many days of mine. Heaven became a whole bunch more fun with the inclusion of Mike Green in it! My heartfelt sympathies go out to his and Terri's families and many, MANY friends. God speed and Semper Fi Michael.

I knew Mike back when he worked for the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department and worked cased after he was with the MSP...he was a good friend and i am very sorry for the loss to his family and for the family of his wife...he was a great cop...and i'm shanken to core hearing of this death...Jim Stadtfeld, Retired Detective, Calhoun County Sheriff's Department....

R.I.P. Mike, always felt welcome in your home when I came and played with Sean. Will always remember the stories that you used to tell Sean and I and will always remember the time that you helped me along with Sean on painting my Chevy Nova. Will miss you always even though I lost contact with you and Sean, you are just a person that no one ever forgets.

Mike Greene worked with me in the Enforcement Unit/Haz Mat/Fire Marshal Division. He was a person that never lost a friend MSP or otherwise in his life. Although getting to know Mike fairly well, Retirement (mine) in 1995 did not allow us to keep in touch. However I have many Mike Greene Storys, and freely borrow from many of his quotes to this day. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Mike and Terri’s family. I had the pleasure to work with Mike from 1984 – 1988 and in our kind of work strong and lasting bonds are formed forever. What a great guy to call a friend! Over the years I was lucky enough to see Mike from time to time and later meet his beautiful wife Terri usually at the annual pig roast. I’ve still got the tee shirt Mike and Terri had made up for the pig roast a couple years back and a great photograph with Mike’s big...
