Michael Groner

Michael Alan Groner, age 64, of New Baltimore, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Michael was born April 6, 1957 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to Jack Joseph & Betty Jane (Bell) Groner. Michael attended St. Margaret's for grade school, and Austin High School. He was a competitive artistic roller skate dancer, and member of a National Roller Skating Championship speed team in his teens. Michael served proudly n the United States Navy from 1976-1979, serving on the Aircraft Carrier the U.S.S. America, as a Weapons Ordinance Specialist. After discharge he had various jobs, but eventually worked in the building trade and became an excellent tile setter. Michael will be missed by many. He is survived by his mother, Betty Jane Groner; siblings, David (Colleen), Kathleen (the late Grace Ann), Alan (Janice), Steven (Theresa), Paul (the late Joey). He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Joseph Groner; wife, Laura Brisson; and grandparents, Joseph Bell, Marion Rettig, Theresa & Joseph Groner. A memorial visitation for Michael will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home.
