Mike - thanks for teaching me the ropes down at WW&R - I still use some of the old stand by phrases that you taught me....and yes, they still get me in trouble!!! I am sorry that we lost contact for such a long time and to hear of your struggles - Thanks for all that you did for me.

Mike was a fine talent on bass, and had thunder in his voice. I was fortunate to work with Mike as signer, a friend, and fellow bass player. We had some great times singing together. He was one of the first singers in town to impress me.
He will be greatly missed.

I have known Mike and enjoyed his friendship since 1966. He had an incredible voice and a heart as big as the sky. He was a true friend and will be sorely missed. Rock on, my brother.

I sometimes think that the only thing bigger than Mike's robust voice was his intense passion for music. From the moment I first heard him belt out a song with his magnificent tone and power and through the years I had the immense privilege of playing with him in Strongbow, I remained in awe of his God-given talent to "deliver" a song. He will no doubt live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends and the many people he touched with his marvelous talent.

I was saddened to hear our your recent battles, Mike. Forgive me for not coming to see you. Our talk was great, however, and good to catch up on some old memories.
You made "Strongbow" a fine band!
