I remember Michael as a very friendly guy at St. Emydius, and he lived just up the street from me on Urbano Drive. Rest well, Michael.

I still can't believe such a nice and gentle soul has left us. I will remember Michael fondly for the rest of my life. He was there with a beautiful smile and a laugh whenever I was down during our HS years. He is and will always be missed.

Even after he left the Chronicle, we still kept in touch and he would come meet me for breakfast while I was working in the field and sometimes surprise me and come to the warehouse at like 3 am to say hello. Couldn't ask...

One of my dearest cousins: When I was little, he always made me feel loved and accepted, when a lot of others did not. And as I matured, he always had an understanding, listening ear like Uncle Haney, and a smile that never ceased. During the tough times when I saw him, whether in pain, hospitalized or not, he always kept a positive outlook and found encouraging words to speak like Auntie Patsy did. He was the true embodiment of love and a reminder that no matter how tough it gets, we have a...
