a sad remembrance of a good man. R.I.P. Mike

A good man worth remembering. R.I.P. Mike

Still keeping Mike in my mind & heart to this day! So many of us remember him so fondly.

My son Curtis is reapplying for his painting contractors license - he let it lapse after being wiped out in the 2008 crash. It made me think of Mike, so even though I had heard he passed, I just wanted to verify it. I met Mike in the 70's when he was over at my neighbors house in Fremont. Spider Cantley got Mike involved in his Leukemia Fund raising escapades - like making hundreds of Christmas decorations for all our neighbors. I was the Executive Vice President of PATCO (air traffic...

Mike did a lot for our union, Local 510, he was a great at helping negotiating our contract´s, a nice guy with a big heart and a great smile. RIP Mike, you´ll be missed.

Mike and I were on the SF Labor Council together for over 15 years while I was representing SF Machinist Lodge #68. He was a great guy and a union person who always had a smile on his face. We reunited after many years at a SF Fryers Club luncheon and picked up our friendship where we left off, many years ago. He will be missed. Condolences to his family. R.I.P.

Very sorry to hear of Mikes Passing. I got to know him as my Good Friend Jr. Mitchell started out covering cars on the street as Mike painted Billboards above for then Foster and Kleiser. Mike mentored Jr. through apprentice, to Journeyman Artist, as well as in Life. My Condolences to all his Family, Tom Corso

Prayers and condolences to the family. Mike was a wonderful gentleman and kind soul. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and break bread with him several times. A class act in all aspects.

Mike was a wonderful public servant and a great labor leader. Condolences to the Hardeman family during this sad time.
