To the Harland Family words can not say nor describe Mike (Michael) Harland, I am shocked as are many of his Friends and Family. I had the pleasure playing High School Football with Michael at St.Thomas Aquinas H.S in Oakville, Ontario.

I have known Mike since he was a young boy and as a friend of his father for many years I shared many conversations with Mike. He had a rough road with this sickness and at times I felt he had had enough, but his strength saw him push on. He was always a positive man,Unfortunate for mike time ran out. I worked with Mikey for a short time at McPeak Motors in Mebane, NC. He was always cheerful and charming and I came to like him very much. He was always eating those Corn Nuts. I remember he underwent a stem cell transplant and I was so hoping that would work, as I had once donated stem cells to someone else but they had died due to an unrelated infection.
