HUDSON - Michael "Mike" H. Harshbarger, age 84, of Hudson, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, surrounded by family.
He was born March 18, 1941, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, son of the late George and Jeannette (née Flack) Harshbarger.
Mike graduated from Central High School, and worked in the tool and die industry prior to opening his auto dealership, Suburban Auto Sales.
He married the love of his life, Donna Burks on Jan. 21, 1967, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and from this union, two children were born.
Mike had many passions and interests, fueled by his career, including high-performance and classic automobile restoration and collecting die-cast versions, attending NASCAR races with Donna in their motorhome for more then 20 years and lake life. He was a man of honor, integriy and intention whether in conversation, assisting on a project or playing cornhole. He will be missed dearly.
Mike is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Donna; sons, Mick (Rosie) Harshbarger and Matthew Harshbarger; grandsons, Bryan (Sally) Harshbarger and Mitchell Harshbarger; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Maggie and Patrick Harshbarger; sister, Sally Meeks; and beloved Bassett Hound, George.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior.
Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
