So very sad to see this. I have admired him from afar and his genuine and kind personality is what always came across to me. He always seemed to be smiling and always knew how much he loved his wife. A true legend and hero in the region. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Mickey was a smart businessman and a visionary, who did so much for the greater Bridgeport region. He improved the lives of many people through his actions. He was willing to take chances in the things he believed in. I admired the professionalism he exhibited in all his endeavors (he always treated me, as a member of the press, well). Mickey has been a mentor, colleague and friend for more than 36 years and he will be missed. A great leader and helped shape a better health care system. To Jackie and family, we are thinking about you and send our condolences.
