Many of us are still in disbelief Mick, however, some of us know that heaven is a real place and we all will see one another again. I/we thank you for you being the best CEO ever!

So very sad to see this. I have admired him from afar and his genuine and kind personality is what always came across to me. He always seemed to be smiling and always knew how much he loved his wife. A true legend and hero in the region. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Mickey was a smart businessman and a visionary, who did so much for the greater Bridgeport region. He improved the lives of many people through his actions. He was willing to take chances in the things he believed in. I admired the professionalism he exhibited in all his endeavors (he always treated me, as a member of the press, well). My mom (Jacky) liked his sense of humor, a trait they had in common. He knew how to have fun as well as work hard. Mickey's life was one well lived, and so many of us benefited from that. My condolences to his family.

Jackie, Eleni and David, Christopher and Greta, Stephanie, Mickey, Charlie, Jack, Charlie, Zachary, Samuel, Jack and Joan, and Judy -
Having worked most of my career the Bridgeport Region, I knew of Mickey Herbert, we all did. He was, after all, bigger than life. And, it is clear he knew how to live life to the fullest. Later in my career, I had the good fortune and great honor to work with him for a short time. For as invested as he was in every company and project he took on, he never stopped talking about or being proud of all of you. Trust that he loves you still and that he will be looking out for you from that great big ballfield in the sky.
I and my husband Joe will keep you in our prayers as you navigate this difficult time.

My deepest and sincerest condolences to the entire family of Mick & Jackie. No need for a lot of words from me because his life was a testimony for many of us. I thank you for your friendship and your newsletters every year. I will continue to lift you all up in prayer during this most difficult time.

A modern-day PT Barnum is gone. So very sad. He will be sorely missed. He touched so many lives in such a positive way. Our beloved Bluefish, Barnum Festival, and BRBC were built by his sunny disposition, sense of community, and hard work. He rarely spoke about himself but never missed an opportunity to talk about his family (and Baseball). He was a loyal supporter of mine in all my endeavors but never missed an opportunity to remind me he was a Republican and admonish me to listen to his common sense. Many will miss him. He left his mark and our part of this world is better because of him.
