I'm often reminded of E. Denis's poem in connection with Michael ("Micky") Holmes: "A grateful heart a garden is, where there is always room, for every lovely God-like grace, to come to perfect bloom." Michael was a man with many graces, an ironic wit, sparing with advice but a great guide, and a true peacemaker. I know your friends and colleagues will miss your authenticity and wide array of talents.
