Not sure what to say?

Hello Charlotte.....We just learned and we're so sorry to hear about Michael's passing. We have many fond memories of our "younger" days with you and John's years with HB Contracting. Our sincerest sympathy, John and Laura Pankratz

I was very saddened to hear of Micheal's passing and pass along condolences to Char and all the family. Micheal,( aka Rodent) and I shared a lot of boyhood time usually sports related...he was a true competitor!!! He did not like to lose...I had the opportunity to play with and against Micheal, namely in Fastpitch and badminton. He was an awesome catcher!!! and I believe he needed a shower after every game. Question: how did we ever survive that Mt. Baker experience??? We did have an Angel...

Our best memories of Mike are the many years we shared our annual Nurse's Christmas gathering. During those many years, we shared joys and sorrows of parenting and life. He of course always wanted to hear how our boys were doing in basketball as our kids went to MEI and as many of you know, Mike always had a remark or two to make to us about that. Because I was usually in charge of thinking up a game to play, I also would get the sarcastic "tongue in cheek" remark about playing a "stupid"...

Our sincere condolences to Charlotte and her entire family. May all your wonderful family memories wrap you in his arms through your grief.

So very sad to know that "Pa" is no longer with us. He was an amazing human, a great coach and a kind & loving person in my life. I know him from a pre-teen and he was very patient and accepting of me. I will never forget his eye rolls and shaking his head at me whenever I was out of line or attempting humour. I only did it as he had an amazing smile. Thinking of you Ma (Charlotte) Paige, Kyle, Cort, Ash and family.

mike was a fastball teamate who played 110 percent all the time .[pete rose of the park hote]l i am so sorry and wish i could do something to help . old schoolmate blair johnson

I first knew Mike in 1970 from the twinkle in Charlotte's eyes. That has continued all the rest of the time. I knew of his wonderful nature and love for his family always through the light in Charlotte's eyes. Keep the light.

Dear Charlotte...and Paige, Kyle, Courtney, Ashleigh and your familiies... I am so very sorry to hear this saddest news. I remember Mike as larger than life with a generous heart, booming laugh and great sense of humour. He always made us feel so welcome whenever we tagged along at Bimpy's... I hope all your years of countless and wonderful memories bring you comfort. Sending the biggest hugs with my love....Big Lish xo

I am so saddened to hear of Mike´s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Charlotte and his amazing children and their families. He has left a mark on our community for his generosity but his active participation in so many things was what made him truly special. He was a permanent fixture on the sidelines when his kids were playing sports in high school and his commentaries were like no other. I loved our conversations and serving together on the Abbotsford Police City Basketball...
