I knew Mike through the LGCB, where he was an enthusiastic player and supporter of the band. He was a very nice man - I'm so sorry for your loss.

To- Tom - David and Steve Mike was my childhood friend of Cottage Hill days a a kid in the fifties. We grew up together and were good friends with many adventures. I just called him not long ago just to say hi and talk. I did not know of his death and will miss him greatly. My best to you guys. Jim Barrett

I met Mike when we were young and been friends for nearly 60 years. His wit was infectious and mischief may have been his middle name. A caring family man that will be missed by everyone he touched. Thoughts and prayers to Mike's family. He truly was one of a kind.

Mike was first and foremost a very dear friend. Our friendship goes back over 50 years and is something I shall always treasure. I remember Mike as a wonderful friend, the best father ever, a devoted son and a man with constant curiosity and uncompromising integrity. One of my friends referred to Mike as a true gentleman.
