Not sure what to say?

Michael, Michael, Michael, you gave everything your all. Your love of Family, of God, of Friends and of work is missed so much. You could always counsel with correctness and with a sidebar of humor. Life of those who were near you were blessed with a straight shooting guy. You are greatly missed.

My roommate at Villanova. My sympathy Bob Scarito

Mike volunteering at Chippokes State Park, on the beach.

Mike loved his Family, his country, his God and gardening. Not necessarily in that order. Few things took his laugh and smile away. His character painted life as it is, not as we would like it to be. He was an analogist.
He was a very good friend and will be missed. Chippokes, was a new and frequent discovery for him. Solitude from the life of the burbs.

To Mike's Family,

My sincere condolences. I am just learning that Mike is gone and it leaves a big hole in the heart of the Four Amigos of Master Gardening. Russ, Juliet, Mike and I befriended in the MG training and the laughs never stopped. Mike's sense of humor and gardening expertise made our volunteering together a joy.

We have had the pleasure of viewing Mike's wonderful work with Grace's Garden on every walk from Castleton through Pine Ridge. Last evening, on our daily stroll, we were so touched to see the contributions of live plants and greenery for the continuation of his passion. I hope the Pine Ridge Civic League will chose to honor Mike by renaming the entrance area and by maintaining his efforts. With our sincere sympathy,
Lori and Jim Attwood
