Not sure what to say?

Judy and family. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it to Mike's service. My eldest son was getting married the same day, you know that little 6 year old boy that came to city hall when I was city councilor in 1998. One of the best men I knew. Sid Leiken, Springfield Mayor, 2000-2010

Judy and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was an amazing man. He was such a wonderful leader and asset to our community. He was a considerate leader to the City of Springfield employees. I especially enjoyed working with both of you at Pacific Cascade FCU. I am so sorry I was unable to attend his memorial service as I was out of town. My thoughts are with all of you.

We loved Mike for his love of family, service to community, hard work, honesty and eternal optimism. We will miss his smile, titilating humor and intellect that was beyond compare.

"Once A Colonist, Always A Colonist"

Ryan and Family,
Sorry to hear of your loss of your Dad. Thinking of you and your family.

Mike - thanks for being my mentor, friend and boss. You were the ultimate example of leadership. Judy - we all know how important you and the children were to him and to all that he shared with the community. - Dennis Murphy, retired fire chief 2010 & Mary Murphy retired teacher 2007.

Judy & Family, Our prayers and thoughts go out to each of you. We love you. Mike was such a quiet giant in our community and for a lot of us individually. Go Beavs !!
