Lived in the dorms at UofA and he was kind to me. We always played this game called "The Game" and you'd lose if you even thought of the game. We would constantly message each other when we lost and he honestly helped with the culture shock and homesickness I had. Truly a kind person and I'm glad to have met him

I never met Michael in person but socially on a Pittsburgh Penguins site. He lived the Penguins for sure. His strength and drive inspired me like no other. RIP Michael you left many great memories and touched the lives of to many to count. Helen Gofton. Tillsonburg Ontario Canada.
