Not sure what to say?

To the Lucas Family:
It was a pleasure knowing Michael and Candy these past few years. As a bowler for the past 30 years, I always admired him for participating in the Annual Bowl for Kids Sake fund raisers as a member of a team sponsored by Caltrans. My hat's off to him!

To Michael's Family:

Please accept our sympathy. I worked with Michael for several years and always considered him to be a good friend.

I was looking forward to attending his retirement picnic last July.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Michael's passing and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Michael was a friend of mine here at Caltrans where we both worked and enjoyed some special moments together. For many years, Michael treated us to his delicious, but spicy, hot chili during the holiday potluck. His sense of adventure and good humor will be missed, but not forgotten.

To the Family of Mike Lucas

I am very sorry for your loss, Mike was a special man and well liked by all that knew him at Caltrans. I'll remember him for his sense humor, playing softball, his dog "Candi" and the "hottest" chili I ever tried to eat. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the Lucas Family. Michael's genuine kindness and sense of humor will be remembered.

My deepest sympathies to the Lucas family. I will miss Michael's cheerful presence in the office.

To the Lucas Family & All those Cared for Michael in His Last Days

Goodbye For Now Michael

My sympathies to to the Lucas Family. Mike was always enjoyable to be around with his positive attitude, great laugh and willingness to do interesting things in his life. About four years ago I mentioned something about an upcoming black powder cannon shoot at the Simpson Rifle Range. He expressed a lot of interest in the cannon shoot (like he did with most things in his life) so Mike Yancheff and I took him and Candy out to the cannon shoot. We all had a great time, especially Mike as he...

To Mike's Family,
I worked with Mike at Caltrans until my retirement in 2005. I was very sorry to read of his passing, he will be missed by many. Our sincere sympathy, Russ and Joan Lee
