Not sure what to say?

I think of Mike often. I rely on the many lessons and advice he shared with me. His character and work ethic still motivate me and I´m sure others, to this day. I´ll always be grateful for his friendship and support. I trust you´re looking down upon us, in a better place, still imparting wisdom and guidance, if only in the memories we all share of you.

my sincere condolences to the Luckett family and friends. i worked with mike on a series on new, innovative remediation projects during the 10 years i worked at G&M/Arcadis. we implemented intrinsic bioremediation/bioattenuation into several closures that were "firsts" approved and closed by various state and federal regulators. Once i had proved thru extra data and mike's input as to intimate hydrogeology, we made quite the team--along with joe maddalena-we generated alot of projects in...

I have had the pleasure to know Mike Luckett for the past 15 years. Not that anyone ever really got to know Mike. But I probably came as close as anyone in his most recent years.
I first met Mike when he was the Project Manager for an environmental remediation project I was also involved in. Mike always projected professionalism, knowledge, proven experience and know how, with just the right amount of confident swagger. He took control of our project and made real progress for the...

Michael was my first cousin. we had met over the years mostly at Luckett functions in Canton, Ms. Since we lived so far apart, I was unable to get to know him and my other cousins as i would have liked. When I think of Michael I still see a golden haired, tanned young man that as we 'd say in the 70's was "Cool",. Daddy had taken us to Lake St. John to see our cousin Michael in a sking championship, well he didn't win but boy could he ski! This is the way I will remember Michael, very vibrant...

Until recently I had worked with Mike for the last 14 years; most of my working career. He hired a young, clueless geologist, gave me "Mike Luckett" speeches numbers 1 to 273, and we proceeded together as a team. Sometimes indestructible & invincible, always confident, but oh man watching out for cocky. "Mike Luckett" speech #22 "When you get high & mighty & overconfident you are really asking for a major fall straight off the perch into the poo at the bottom of the cage." Most would say he...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Luckett family during this time of loss.

It was my pleasure to work with Mike at Geraghty & Miller in the late 1980's. He provided guidance, sound advice and of course a great deal of comic relief. Our profession has lost a true gem.

Your memory will live forever in all those who knew and loved you.

My thoughts are with Mike's friends and family. He was a true mentor to me having known him for over 17 years and having had the true honor of working with him for many years. I learned firsthand how to base decisions on principle and Mike was truly a man of strong character. He will be missed by many and remembered always.
