Not sure what to say?

I just heard about Mike this week and still can't believe that lively, funny, full of life guy is no longer with us. I worked at Maritz Travel Company from 1974 to 1981. Mike was a TD in the later years of my employment. We were all like high school and college friends. The motto was "work hard and play hard" and we did all that! It was always so much fun to run into Mike and to hear his stories. Mike was funny when he wasn't trying to be. He just made real life extra funny. I've run into...

Nancy and all of Michael's family;
I was so saddened to hear of Michael's untimely death. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Bill and Margaret, Just want to tell you how sad I was to hear of Mikes death, Eddy called and told me.
I had not seen Mike since I moved from Uplands Park, but I always thought he was a wonderful person.
I know Eddy will miss him a lot.

Mike's approach to his career, family and friends was an inspiration to me that I think of often. He will be missed but always with a smile and a laugh!

Mike, We met so many people and made many wonderful friends. Thank you for sharing. Virginia, We hope you find joy in your happy memories and wish you peace and clarity as you move ahead. Katie, You meant the world to your Dad and brought him such joy. Carry his love with you always. In deepest sympathy, Larry and Susan Emerson

My thoughts and prayers to Virginia and the rest of Mike's family. It has been many years since I've seen Mike but I have fond memories of the years that I worked with him. He was a nice guy and could always make you smile.

Virginia & Katie, So sorry to hear the sad news of Michael's untimely death. There were so many great memories! I'll never forget his great laugh and kindness. Plus the stories he could tell, what a comedian!! I was glad he was in our fraternity, TKE, at Missouri State in Springfield. But I'll I never forget the time that he made me stay the night at your house when I came in town to see, "The Who", perform at the Riverfront. He insisted that I stay the night, and in the morning cooked...

Dear Virginia and Katie:
My heart is heavy for your loss and I am completely saddened for the passing of my friend. Mike had a true genuine quality of making people feel appreciated. Yes, his creative humor, priceless laugh, and compassion for life and people are all qualities I will never forget. Mike surrounded himself with what he loved the most - his family. I always felt his home was his refuge. Keep the faith, God will give you strength in ways you never thought possible. In...
