I think Mike, Rick Kern and I played in a band that practiced at a church west of Burges High School. I moved to Arizona in 1972. I regret not knowing that Mike worked in Scottsdale for a while.

I'm very sorry to hear that Mike passed away and offer my prayers and condolences to his family and friends. He and I were classmates at Austin High and we're both in the trumpet section of the band. He was an excellent musician and a first rate friend of my high school years. I have many fond memories of Mike, and I will pray for the repose of his soul.
